Carrier Clinic, a private, not for profit behavioral healthcare system, specializes in psychiatric and addiction treatment. The Blake Recovery Center, the centerpiece of Carrier’s Addiction programming provides Detoxification and Rehabilitation Addiction Recovery services. The Eating Disorders Program at the University Medical Center at Princeton serves adults, adolescents, and children (age 8+) from around the country who suffer from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and other eating disorders.  The program offers inpatient and partial hospital levels of care combining a psychosocial approach with the latest advances in nutritional and medical treatment.  A multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive services, including monitored meals, regular weight checks, intensive individual and family therapy, daily medical management, psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups, nutritional therapy, relaxation training, yoga, leisure skills groups and a multi-family program.  Individual tutoring is provided onsite for all school-aged children and adolescents.
