Elections for new Board positions occur in the spring of each year. Please consult the NJCA by-laws for details on parliamentary procedure. If you are interested in submitting a nomination for consideration for the positions of President-elect or Member at Large, please do so in response to the Call for Nominations or by email to the NJCA in a timely fashion. Self nominations are not accepted, in conformance of the ACA restrictions regarding nominations and elections. The nominator must ascertain and represent that the nominee is a member of good standing in the NJCA. The nominator must submit to the NJCA in a timely fashion, the following :

A resume or CV of the nominee

A statement of 50 words or less that sets forth the proposed candidate's reasons for seeking this office

The term of membership with NJCA (how long have you and the proposed candidate been members)

A description of the proposed candidate's counseling experience in the workplace (both paid and volunteer)

A listing of any other professional organizations in which the proposed candidate holds membership
